2008-2009 Season: JV and VARSITY REGISTRATION
TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 30th, 7-9pm IN THE HALL
NEW PROCEDURE:
A) This year we will have registration and uniform distribution together. We'll
worry about number duplications if/when necessary.
B)
Gym Fee. As you know, we rent our gym time which is usually paid at a later date upon completion of our Shoot-A-Thon. Traditionally,
the Shoot-A-Thon does not raise enough funds to satisfy our debt and the CYO program juggles other sports registration to
cover, then repeats this process. We are always in a buy-cover situation due to our gym fees. The City of Bowie as changed
their regulations this year and NO LONGER allow any club to defer payments. Therefore, we must raise the funds for gym time
NOW. The fee is $30 PER FAMILY (not per child - 1 or 3 kids is $30)
We will address a Shoot-A-Thon at a later date - you will be included in the discussion.
C) Late Registrations: If you can not attend email us now
for instructions (address on home page). NO REGISTRATIONS ARE TO BE SENT THROUGH SCHOOL via OUR CHILDREN. Effective 10/5 all
registrations received are placed on a waiting list to determine if space is available, we had 232 participants last year
- wait list is likely.
D) CYO Fee:
$90 per CHILD.
E) Bring
with you:
- $90 CYO fee per CHILD + $30
Gym Fee per FAMILY
- ADW Consent Form and
write up to 2 email address for us to contact throughout the season
- $50 check payable to SPX CYO and dated Feb 1, 2009 for Uniform deposit
Rookie Registration will take place in mid October.
ALL COACHES, ASST. COACHES AND ANY OTHER PERSON WORKING WITH THE PLAYERS
MUST COMPLETE THE ARCHDIOCESE BACKROUND CERTIFICATION. NO EXCEPTIONS. Vist the school office for forms and instructions.
