St. Pius X CYO Cadet Basketball Program:
The St. Pius X CYO Program is offering a FREE cadet basketball program
open to all 1st and 2nd grade boys and girls. The program is an introduction to the sport with focus on fundamental skills
and game play. The cadet basketball program will be held on Saturday mornings at the Bowie City gym from 8:00 a.m. -
9:00 a.m. beginning January 30, 2010, and ending February 27, 2010. Any 8th grade students seeking volunteer hours are
welcome to participate. Anyone interested, please RSVP to Rob Lucian at sports@lucianmail.com.

Pius X CYO Basketball Banquet:
The St. Pius X CYO Basketball Banquet will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010, 7:00
pm - 9:00 pm, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bowie, Maryland. All 2009 - 2010 St. Pius X CYO
Basketball participants and their families are invited to attend a basketball CYO sports banquet. The banquet is for
all the St. Pius X CYO basketball teams from the 2009 - 2010 school year/season. Pizza, soda, and dessert will
be provided. The fee is $4.00 per person or $17.00 per family (maximum). Please provide the following information: name of family, phone number, number of adults attending,
number
of children attending, and your fee (checks made payable to St. Pius X CYO) by Friday, February
26, 2010, in an evelope marked: Annmarie Dinsmore, CYO Basketball Banquet (via the school "pass-a-long" system).

Registration procedures: PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING
Click the sportregister link to register your family in the SPX CYO system. Follow the instructions to
register your children for Basketball. You will receive a confirmation email from SPX CYO with payment instructions.

Upon completion of the SPX registration go to www.washcyo.com and register your child in the Arcdiocese system. Remember to print the confirmation page.
NOTE: Each family is assesed a $30 gym use fee which will be added on your totals page. This is to pay for gym
rental charges and is in lieu of holding a fundraiser to cover this expense.
